Money Matters: Financial Workshops for Teens & Parents

Money Matters: Financial Workshops for Teens &  Parents

Money Matters, a series of financial workshops designed for all teens and their parents.

  • The workshops will help teens understand how to spend and how to save their money, and how money choices have an effect on them now and in the future.
  • Bar and Bar Mitzvot students will learn from material geared to their level.
  • Older teens will receive information that will help them before going on to college or to a job.
  • The adult component will be more sophisticated and will explain in greater detail what everybody should know about finances, but too often does not know.

If you are interested, please call the NCJW/Greater Detroit office for further information at 248-355-3300, ext. 0.

See related Secured Credit Card Loan Program. Both these programs, inspired by NCJW's Higher Ground campaign, are made possible by a grant from Jewish Women's Foundation of Metropolitan Detroit, as well as increasing efforts of our Domestic Abuse Awareness Committee and representatives from JVS and Hebrew Free Loan.
